Q: I check everything - why do I need an edit and proofread?

Q: Will my book be ready to publish or self-publish after your edit?

A: Depending on the condition of your manuscript when it is submitted to us, after our proofreading and edit your work will be significantly closer to being ready for acceptance by a publisher. Depending on individual publisher specifications, it may even be ready for printing directly. In addition, your negotiations with any publisher will be a good deal more straightforward.

Q: I love writing but I am new to it. Can I send my first three chapters for you just to assess in an overview? I don't mind paying, as I understand this takes time.

A: While we can do this and you will certainly benefit from the assessments and tips you receive from one of our book editors, we recommend that you have the three chapters fully proofread and edited.
